What is in place

Every page works from the keyboard alone. A skip link jumps past the header to the content, focus is always visible as a gold ring, and the menu closes on Escape and hands focus back to the button that opened it. While the mobile menu is open, the page behind it is inert, so you cannot tab into links you cannot see.

The contact form has a real label on every field, sends autocomplete hints so a password manager or browser can fill your name, email and phone, and reports both errors and success through a live region rather than colour alone. If validation fails, focus moves to the first field that needs attention.

Headings run in order without skipped levels, landmarks mark the header, navigation, content and footer, and the page you are on is marked in the navigation for screen readers as well as visually. Text contrast was measured against the actual rendered text rather than estimated, and if your system asks for reduced motion, the reveal animations and smooth scrolling turn off.

Known limitations

The photographs behind page titles are decorative and carry no alternative text on purpose. They contain no information that is not in the heading beside them, and describing them would add noise to a screen reader without adding meaning.

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a third-party widget. It is designed to work without solving a puzzle and usually needs no interaction at all, but we do not control its internals. If it blocks you, telephone or email us and we will take your enquiry that way. That route is not a lesser one.

This site has not been audited by an independent accessibility specialist, and it has not been tested against every combination of screen reader and browser. Our testing covers keyboard navigation, heading and landmark structure, contrast, and reduced-motion behaviour.

We aim to reply within one business day and to tell you either when it will be fixed or how to get what you needed another way.

Getting information another way

Anything on this site is available by phone or email, including licence numbers, service details and service areas. If you would rather have something read to you, sent as plain text, or posted, ask and we will do that.
